Irish Distillers has launched Jameson Cold Brew, an infusion of triple distilled Jameson Irish Whiskey with natural cold brew coffee flavour derived from 100% Arabica beans from Brazil and Colombia.
Bottled at 30% ABV with no added sugar, Jameson Cold Brew is described as having aromas of “intense rich coffee bean aromatics combined with vanilla nuttiness” and a “full bodied mouthfeel” with notes of “coffee, charred wood, toasted oak and dark chocolate” on the palate.
Jameson Cold Brew first debuted at Jameson Distillery Bow St and Dublin Airport in September 2018 as part of a trial program. It received a wide release in Ireland and Australia in 2019 and is now launching across the United States.
